Youth

There are many opportunities for youth workers under Action 5 of the Youth Programme including:

- Youth Work Seminars

Erasmus

Enables students to study abroad for between 3 and 12 months in a participating university or college. In Ireland it is administered by the Higher Education Authority,

Leonardo Da Vinci

Provides vocational training opportunities in Europe, including
- work placement
- language training
- European training
Applications are made by organisations involved in vocational training rather than individuals.

Comenius

This programme is targeted at schools and provides opportunities for teachers and student teachers to take part in European training events, exchange programmes and transnational education projects.

Grundtvig

Promotes the European dimension of life-long learning and alternative learning pathways and provides opportunities for educators and learners to engage in European training courses and work experience placements (job-shadowing).

Europass

Whether you are planning to enrol in an education or training programme, looking for a job, or getting experience abroad, it is important to be able to make your skills and competences clearly understood. This website can help you to write your European CV, to create your European language passport and other documents that can be useful when looking for a job or an internship abroad. It also gives you contact details of the Europass Centre in your country. The website is available in 21 languages.

To find information on Studying and Training in Europe, go to the Homepage of the Portal and click on the section Studying on the left hand side.
