Eurodesk European Network Meeting in Ireland
10-13 April 2008

Eurodesk Ireland is pleased to host for the first time in its history the Eurodesk European Network Meeting which will be attended by fifty participants, including Eurodesk National Partners from thirty European countries, representatives from the European Commission, Department of Education and Science and Irish Eurodesk local relays.
The meeting is going to take place from 10th to 13th April in the Kippure Estate in Co. Wicklow.

Eurodesk Ireland Internship

From 22th January to 13th April 2008 Eurodesk Ireland in cooperation with Eurodesk Italy and the Youth Information Centre Clondalkin and is hosting an intern from Italy, Giuliano Astore, a young law graduate. Giuliano's tasks focus on European information research and provision, preparation of a new Eurodesk leaflet about summer jobs in Europe as well as preparation and organization of Eurodesk events and answering of enquiries.

25 March – 30 June 2008: Spring Day for Europe 2008 - Bridging cultures through dialogue

Spring Day for Europe is an annual event that encourages schools to book one or many days in their calendar to organise events that focus on debate, interaction and reflection on European themes.

Spring Day for Europe runs this year from 25 March to 30 June 2008, with a particular focus on 9 May, when Europe Day is celebrated.
