Each year the Heinz-Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe, in co-operation with the European Youth Parliament, invites young European people between 18 and 28, who have dedicated themselves in a particular way to European communication and integration, to be nominated for this prize.
The award prize consists of € 5,000 to be used to finance a six-month practical traineeship with a Member of the European Parliament or another European institution. It is also possible to use the sum to finance a project which promotes European integration.
Deadline for sending applications 30th June 2009.
